Messaging
Keep your drivers informed via TotalLocate's messaging platform. In addition to the conference call function available in the Location application, TotalLocate lets you send text messages over a variety of formats.
SMS, Email, or Mobile Data Terminal?
Compatibility with a variety of messaging formats lets our software communicate with almost any tracking device available on the market. Are your mobile personnel carrying portable handsets? Send them a quick SMS message to notify them of new deliveries. We even have message character counts, so your messages won't get cut off if they exceed the SMS limit. If your personnel have more advanced hardware that supports longer messages, send them an email instead. Or, if the vehicle is equipped with a Mobile Data Terminal, you can send a message directly to their screen. Message History
Just like an email application, TotalLocate will keep track of all incoming and outgoing messages. Use the message history to look at any messages you have sent or received over a specified time period.
